Preconditions

Requirements for admission: First cycle higher education in the field of computer science and information technology, or comparable education; or first cycle higher education in another field and an entrance exam or at least two years of professional experience in a field related to computer science and information technology. English language skills equivalent to at least B2 level.

Special enrolment requirements (preconditions): University study courses at the Bachelor level (Level 6 of LQF / EQF) within the following topics and in the following volume: databases (3 ECTS), computer networks (3 ECTS), higher mathematics (3 ECTS),  civil defence (2 ECTS) and environmental protection (2 ECTS).

Applicants who have no above mentioned competences may acquire them in courses offered by Riga Technical University.

If a student has not mastered the study topics of civil defence (2 ECTS) and environmental protection (2 ECTS) within the lower-level study programme, they may acquire them at the Master study programme, including appropriate courses in Part C, or in addition to the programme.
